Artist Nisha Duggal introduced the group to new ways to use art materials and technology to communicate, connect and share stories. They worked collaboratively with different art materials such as, paint, clay and digital technologies to create art works that reflected their personal stories and memories.

I loved the week I worked at the White House. It was a real privilege to meet the group and hear their stories. We explored many materials, made films and music. It was a free space, and I think we really connected through the making. I ended up developing a new body of work, Held, that was partly inspired by the week and the conversations we had around trauma, linking objects, memory and place. Nisha Duggal
