A club for 12-15 year olds to explore dance and movement with Barking and Dagenham Youth Dance

BDYD created a week-long project exploring dance, movement and playful routines. Alongside RedFox from BDYD, the group worked together to explore different dance styles and share ideas for a final choregraphed performance. The week culminated in a performance and celebration of the collaborative dance piece.

Barking and Dagenham Youth Dance

Barking and Dagenham Youth Dance (BDYD) is a grassroots charity who make positive changes to their community by offering high quality arts based projects, youth dance workshops, community arts events and career pathway activities. They provide effective opportunities that engage local people in constructive action, through activites such as dance, drama and singing, and emphasise common values such as friendship, citizenship and learning.
