As part of the Social Work England programme for National Social Work Week, New Town Culture will give a talk about our work and our vision for the future of social work.

Experience our ground-breaking work which embeds art, culture and creative confidence in the practices and systems of social services, with powerful positive outcomes for the people who use them.

New Town Culture is about bringing art and culture into social care services for adults and children. Our team from the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham will introduce their new reflective practices, training and creative interventions from social workers and artists.

Out of our work, a new vision for ‘creative social work’ has emerged. Learn how we work with social care professionals, artists and creative practitioners to collaborate, solve problems and support a creative attitude in policy and practice.
